Small hotel near the beach. Room very large and comfortable. Can you stay even in bad weather? Staff very friendly. Breakfast was everything. The view from the balcony. Gladly again.

... come home as always ... our Anni (dog) and we feel very comfortable and welcome in this familiar, cozy house ... just a short distance to the beach and you have the perfect holiday feeling ... us every year on this vacation and Karlshagen won't get rid of us anytime soon

Nice big room and bathroom. It's also very quiet. However, we have already experienced better and more extensive breakfast in the same category.

We were only there for 3 nights. Our room was big and clean. What bothered me was that on Sundays you had to check in at the Keysafe at 4:15 p.m. and at breakfast you only got filter coffee, which was otherwise okay, not even for a surcharge. That doesn't match the price structure that is called there. Breakfast staff was friendly. Parking then costs another € 5 per day when you check out. My conclusion too expensive for that it is not perfect.

For us, our hotel for summer holidays for many years. The people are just super nice, now like a small family.

The rooms are very large and clean. The location is superb. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast is sad to look at. A small bowl of yogurt on the buffet. Slice a peach / nectarine and that's it. Milk, water, juice etc. are not replenished by the staff, just ask for them several times. No lactose-free milk. The price-performance ratio is not right here. I haven't had such a bad breakfast in the hotel in a long time.

Not so many finished products on one plate yet. Turkey escalope - frozen goods, fried potatoes from the packaging, salad dressings from the bottle ... ok the iceberg lettuce and the cucumber slice was fresh. It's a shame what you heard afterwards. It should have been closed. The GERMAN very friendly staff was probably too expensive for the owner. Would like to start again with cheap workers 🥶🥶

Was once very good, now rather unfriendly, no Wi-Fi in the vacation rental or we were called wrong PW and was no longer available. Had the impression, we disturb ...

Is a nice hotel with cozy and big hotel rooms.

First to the plus point: clean and tidy. But: no Wi-Fi, although it is advertised. No breakfast (let alone a restaurant) in the house, although it is advertised. Breakfast can be taken in another hotel. We did, it was very nostalgic. I felt reminded of GDR times, where early quarreled about the counted boiled eggs. No recommendation from me. As a bed house ok, but the name Hotel did not deserve it.

The room at first glance okay Okay but on closer inspection, hair in the shower and dirty mirror. The location is great no question but still a shame.

Very nice hotel, well furnished rooms, competent staff, very good restaurant with German cuisine in the house. Hotel has a very nice garden park-like created and very well maintained and is only 50 m. Price / performance ratio very good.

Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly hosts. Close to the beach, all easily accessible. Recommended!

After many years of vacation in Karlshagen we have lived for the first time in the dune castle. Our room was in the house above the great pizzeria. Ample space, nice little balcony for 2 people adequate, bathroom was ok, everything was very clean. Enough space for the clothes. Unfortunately there is no Wi-Fi here, as well as almost everywhere in Karl Hagen, unfortunately no kettle for the early morning or late evening tea, therefore only four stars.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Honestly friendly and warm staff and rounded off the feel-good atmosphere of a rich and delicious breakfast! Anytime again! Thanks a lot to the whole team

We were there yesterday, around 7.15 p.m., and wanted to eat fish. We took a seat inside because our daughter was freezing outside. One table was free, on it were the glasses from the previous guests. After 5 minutes no one had noticed us. After us came five guests who took their places at a reserved table. After about 10 minutes we could watch them get their drinks. After what felt like a quarter of an hour, we left. The glasses of the predecessors were still there. It's not that wild. Not a broken leg. What struck us was that there was an older man, around 70 years old, doing the waiter. The good gentleman earns something in addition to his pension based on 450.00 euros. He must have wanted it that way. It is his decision. We are then to the Italian around the corner. After 5 minutes everything was ordered. My daughter was offered a high chair right away and the young, attentive waitress had the drinking straw in her shower, a matter of course. You can also pay more than 10.00 euros for a meal, plus a tip. Think about it, Hotel Dünenschloss!

Two days ago we were guests in the restaurant of the Dünenschloss and were excellently advised and served by a very experienced waiter! Delicious beelitzer asparagus, great fish, cozy atmosphere ... really a nice evening! Many Thanks
